Abstract

Important strides have been made in unraveling the pathophysiologic characteristics of some individual forms of vasculitis, but vasculitides continueto pose enormous challenges for clinicians. Over time, numerous myths and an occasional pearl have arisen from the care of patients with these disorders. In this collection of pearls and myths, we have attempted to pool our knowledge about the clinical care of vasculitis patients.
