Abstract

A 13-year-old girl who recently developed hypertension was diagnosed to have an occluded ri-ht renal branch artery and was treated successfully with percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA). To our knowledge, PTA has not been reported as a treatment for totally occluded renal branch arteries, and there is no data available regarding the success rate and possible complications.
