Abstract

In the crystal lattice of the title compound, 1,5-diphenylcarbonohydrazideacetonitrile solvate, C13H14N4O .C2H3N, the diphenylcarbazide molecules create a network structure through hydrogen bonds. The crystal structure is stabilized by N-H . . .N and N-H . . .O hydrogen bonds. The FT-IR spectra clearly show the presence of acetonitrile molecules in the crystal lattice.
