Abstract

A boundary element solution of the uncoupled transient thermoelasticity in3D, non-homogeneous media is proposed. The method is an extension of an earlier, 2D formulation. An explicit expression of the thermal integral function is derived and an efficient Laplace inversion scheme is implemented.
