Abstract

Cr-containing mesoporous silica molecular sieves (Cr-HMS) containing tetrahedrally coordinated isolated chromium oxide (chromate) moieties can operate as an efficient photocatalyst for the decomposition of NO and the partialoxidation of propane with molecular oxygen under visible light irradiation.
