Abstract

Oncological scintigraphy is described in two dogs with malignant lymphoma and malignant schwannoma, respectively. The distribution of the radiopharmaceuticals could be visualized for the purpose of detection of neoplasia andeventual metastases, and to evaluate the effectivity of therapy. It is concluded that (99m)Technetium MIBI and Tc-99m DMSA (V) scintigraphyis useful for the detection of soft tissue malignancy in dogs.
