Abstract

The dynamic behavior of the ternary TeO2-BaO-TiO2 glasses were investigated by Brillouin and low-frequency Raman spectroscopies. The evolution of both the elastic constant, C-11, and the Boson peak maximum position, omega(max), are sensitive to a structural modification with the composition and to the type of cation (Ti4+, Ba2+).
