Abstract

This paper describes an analysis and design method for digitizing a continuous signal by a programmable bandpass sigma-delta modulator. This bandpasssigma-delta modulator has the capability to easily program up to eight bandpass channels without anymore more stringent circuit component requirements no more than one channel. A good performance with greater than 14 bits resolution over the programmable range is achievable.
