Abstract

Within the framework of a phenomenological hydrodynamical model, the relationship of the freeze-out temperature parameter T-f and the transverse flow velocity v perpendicular to is discussed. It is found that the experimental single-particle distributions are not very sensitive to the exact form of the assumed velocity profile, but that there is adefinite anticorrelation between T-f and the average v perpendicular to.
