Abstract

The molar enthalpies of glucose solution, in the mixtures of some alcoholsand formamide(FA), have been determined at 298. 15 K by using a C-80 colarimeter. The McMillan-Mayer theory was used to relate the excess enthalpies of the system to a series of pair and triplet interaction parameters. From the experimental results, the values of pair and triplet interaction parameters h(XY), h(XYY), h(XXY) between solutes have been fitted by a least square method. The information about the solute-solute interaction and the effect of solvent on the interaction were discussed.
