Abstract

This paper focuses on the impedances from various beamline elements in theBeijing Electron Positron Collider with and without vacuum chamber upgrade. We also discuss their power depositions generated by a beam in the form of the High-Order-Mode (HOM) power losses by interacting with its surroundings. Its bunch lengthening with and without vacuum chamber upgrade is also compared and discussed. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
