Abstract

The perovskite oxides La1-xLixMnO3 were prepared by solid state reactions. The XRD results indicate that all samples crystallize in rhombohedral structure. Except x = 0.0, 0.3 ones, all samples show a transition from insulator to metal with decreasing temperature within the liquid nitrogen temperature region, where x = 0.15 sample exhibits the highest transition temperature. The negative magnetoresistance phenomena is observed at applying the magnetic field with H = 1.0 T. The EPR signal with g = 2.00 is closely related with the complex of Mn3+-Mn4+ clusters.
