Abstract

There are a number of problems and complications unique to lung transplantation, including anastomotic complications, reimplantation response, acute and chronic rejection, infections and other findings relating to surgical technique, transbronchial biopsy, and immunosuppressive therapy, This article focuses on the radiologic aspects of these problems. The radiographic evaluation has major importance in the early detection of problems in the transplant patient and is crucial in helpingto direct further diagnostic and therapeutic decisions.
