Abstract

trans-[RhCl2([16]aneSe4)]+, the first fully characterised example of a platinum metal selenoether macrocyclic complex, has been prepared inhigh yield; a single crystal X-ray structure determination on this complex is described together with its Se-77 NMR and electronic spectroscopic data.
