Abstract

Densities and kinematic viscosities have been measured for the systembenzene + methyl formate at 20 degrees C and for the systems benzene ethyl formate, benzene + propyl formate, and benzene + butyl formatefrom 20 degrees C to 50 degrees C. The results for the system benzene+ methyl formate have been correlated using a Redlich-Kister type of expression with temperature-independent parameters and the data for the systems benzene + ethyl formate, benzene + propyl formate, and benzene + butyl formate with temperature-dependent parameters. The viscosities have furthermore been compared to values predicted by means of theGC-UNIMOD model.
