Abstract

Anaphylaxis is a clinical syndrome and is caused by many different agents. Acute therapy is epinephrine. Chronic therapy depends on the agent causingthe anaphylaxis, but usually consists of avoidance of the agent only. Individuals who suffer from this problem should be issued epinephrine and wear or carry medical alert bracelets.
