Abstract

TE10 mode scattering during the transition from a conventional to a superconducting rectangular waveguide is investigated based on the Meissner model. The reflection coefficient, input impedance and equivalentinductance are calculated in cm-wave bands when the TE10 mode is incident on the discontinuity from the conventional (or non-superconducting) waveguide.
