Abstract

A model is presented, which predicts local heat transfer coefficientsunder subcooled flow boiling conditions for mixtures: covering the regimes of convective heat transfer, transition region and fully developed nucleate boiling. While the present model is Valid for annular flow, it can be easily adopted to tubular flow conditions. The predictionsof this model are compared with experimental data for binary and ternary mixtures.
