Abstract

How to form a high-performance double phase-conjugate mirror in a KNSBN:Cu crystal is described. Based on great diffraction efficiency of four-wave mixing and low light losses, a high-performance KNSBN:Cu double phase-conjugate mirror was formed with modified-bridge geometry. A phase-conjugate transmissivity as high as 63% with 97% relative stability was observed, using a low power Ar+ laser of 514 nm wavelength in Brewster angle incidence.
