Abstract

Reaction of zirconium-silyl complex 1, which was prepared from Cp(2)ZrCl(2) and LiSi(t)BuPh(2) in THF, with isonitriles 2 gave eta(2)-iminosilaacyl complexes 3 by a one-pot procedure in good to moderate yields. Treatment of complex 3a with metal hydride and then addition of alkyne gave azazirconacyclopentene 11 via azazirconacyclopropane 7. Hydrolysis of azazirconacyclopentenes 11 gave (alpha-silylallyl)amine 10.
