Abstract

High-T-c superconducting ceramic YBa2Cu3O7-x powders were embedded inpolymer matrices to form 0-3 composites. A study of the AC magnetic susceptibility of the superconducting composites is presented. The temperature and magnetic-field dependence of the susceptibility, filler volume fraction dependence, anisotropic effect, and particle size influence were investigated. Results are compared with that of the pure superconductor and the implications are discussed.
