Abstract

Ethical reflection concerning multifetal pregnancy reduction and selective termination has evolved over the past decade from one of automatic equation with the abortion issue to realization that there are key differences in motivation, intent, and outcomes. The possible positions and approaches for this complex and controversial subject are reviewed.
