Abstract

The aim of this review is to focus on the role of quantification in cardiovascular nuclear medicine and on its impact on clinical practice. We are far from achieving perfect solutions, but it is useful periodically to review present trends. Today coronary artery disease (CAD) isstill the major field addressed by cardiovascular nuclear medicine. Quantification is not an isolated problem, Several other aspects must be implemented to set clinical perspectives.
