Abstract

Two single-copy probes derived from human chromosome 8q24.1 microdissection library have been successfully mapped by screening of human genomic DNA library and fluorescence in situ hybridization. The result demonstrates that these two probes originated from the microdissected region, thus providing two significant genetic markers for the analysis of genetic disease and human genomic DNA.
