Abstract

Throughout history, plant products and their modified analogs have been rich sources of clinically useful drugs, including anticancer agents. This review will cover those agents that are currently in clinical use or in clinical trials as cancer chemotherapeutic drugs. GL-331, anantitumor agent discovered and developed in the authors' laboratory, has been emphasized in the article.
